The Olive 3 Offers Singapore’s First Chauffeur Driven Service with ‘Live’ Music Performance for Hire on Valentine’s Day
Innovative service introduces a whole new Romantic Journey experience allowing customers to book a London Cab, along with a Professional Violinist to entertain

Singapore, 28 January 2008 – The Olive 3 (S) Pte Ltd today launched a unique luxury chauffeur driven service with a ‘live’ music performance for Valentine’s Day. The innovative service, the first of its kind in Singapore, lets customers enjoy a romantic journey with their loved ones in a London cab where a professional violinist will serenade the couple. The service also comes with a bouquet of roses.

By adding a ‘live’ violin performance along with a traditional chauffeur-driven service, The Olive 3 is creating an entirely new romantic and musical experience on wheels. “We think that this would make a wonderful gift for those who want to do something different for Valentine’s Day,” said Lily Chan, Director of Operations. “We are blending a live string solo performance with background CD music accompaniment to create a rich and romantic experience. It is almost as if you are in a mini-concert with your loved one. And by the time the concert is over, you are at your destination.”

The one-way service can either be used to transport couples to their dinner venues on Valentine’s Day or take them home after dinner. It is also ideal for those looking for an innovative marriage proposal or for those who simply want to surprise their loved ones after work.

This service, the first offering in The Olive 3’s Romantic Journey Series, costs S$250 and can be booked for Valentine’s Day (and thereafter, Monday – Saturday) from 10am – 10pm. Besides a personal chauffeur and solo musician, each service also includes a bouquet of roses for the lady. The violinist will perform 3 love songs from a fixed repertoire while the London Cab is available in various colours – Champagne, Gold, Hot Pink and Red with the interior designed to create a romantic atmosphere.

The Olive 3’s Romantic Journey service is among a range of services being offered for Valentine’s Day. This includes the company’s popular Valentine’s Day Surprise Music Delivery Combo Packages which start from S$160 for a stalk of rose and a surprise music delivery service, where a musician (choice of Guitarist- Singer, Saxophonist or Violinist) will deliver the gift and perform two songs for the recipient as a surprise. This Surprise Delivery service is also available as an add-on option for purchase of any floral bouquets, arrangements or gifts from its award-winning designers.

“Since we introduced our Surprise Music Delivery Service, we have done a few hundred such deliveries through mainly word-of-mouth and minimal online advertising. Our Romantic Journey service is a spin-off from this popular offering”, added Ms Chan.
